It’s going to be good in the same way the Red Dawn remake was good. Meaning that it will be a really shitty movie, but not in a good way like the original.

He’s helping a kid that was getting picked on to defend himself but the ‘Karate Kid’ doesn’t like it.

The trailer was a little vague, but I think they’re assuming viewers are coming in with knowledge of the previous movies and wanting us to imply that his old bullying ways and/or the overtly violent teachings of the original Cobra Kai dojo are being carried forward into his teaching of the new kids. Either that or Daniel’s just projecting his past experiences onto the new dojo and they’re just going to carry on their old rivalry in a petty, but (hopefully) humorous manner.
